Facebook facts and figures

Over the years since the dawn of the Internet there have been a few websites which have just taken of with unbelievable popularity. Get the right idea, get the right viral approach, a bit of luck and away you go and that’s what we have seen with Facebook.

The one  figure which is different now, these stats are from March 2010, is the active users which have now hit over 500 million. Some impressive figures on here though and must admit this is one of the few websites I have stuck around with for a long time. One of the dangers Facebook has in the future is its size and the associated arrogance, you already see it happening today but could get worse if they are not careful, seen it so many times in other companies. In the meantime lots still happening on there.
