ERSA Schools Race

So after the controversy of the last blog something a little more straight forward, surely no one can complain this time! This is short and simple about the schools race we are running in ERSA in April, details can be found here. This is going to be the first time we have run a schools race in the region and although we know what we are doing when it comes to running races it is amazing just how much time this one is taking up, but the time spent working on it is starting to prove well worth it. We have had several enquiries about the race and it has certainly created much more interest than I had originally expected.

The challenge now is continuing that momentum until the race and then following up after. We have been talking to the sponsors to get things and in the next couple of weeks we will be publishing more details about the race and sending out the entry forms.

Certainly going to be a challenge though for the region, first schools races, first race in this format and the first race of the new season, wonder who gets stressed first!
