Delights of Christmas

One thing I like about Christmas is the excitement on the face of kids when the day is coming closer. When the decorations start going up, the cards start arriving it just becomes more real.

For us each year it really starts with a visit to the local farm to select the tree we wont. This year it was the same and we selected the tree a couple of weeks ago and then it sat in water in the garage.

On Sunday it was time to put the tree up in the front room. For once Craig was at home as well having been ‘working’ the night before and Natasha was ready to put the tree up. So the two of them got sorted, tree out, into the stand and out in the front room. The they started getting the decorations onto the tree. They loved it!

What was the best thing about it? Simple seeing the delight on their faces when working together to get the tree up especially the excitement on Natasha’s face when they started and she realised Craig was helping.

Must say they did a great job and the front room definitely looks very festive, be good to get home and chat with them again.
